Going to PAX was a great experience. The high profile booths were great as always, but my favorite part of the convention was the Indie Megabooth tucked away on the convention's 4th floor. As an aspiring indie game developer it was great being able to speak to up and coming game developers. This was an experience you wouldn't really get in the major booths, where it was often too busy to really speak to anyone if there was even a developer there.
I took this chance to really scope out what it would be like to get up and running as a studio by checking out indie booths, talking to developers, etc. It was a great educational experience for me, and I am really looking forward to attending again next year (this time with more time to browse), and potentially getting a booth next time as well to promote either my current game, next game, or both.
